Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Environmental, Health & Safety Intern to support our EHS Manager in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. This internship offers hands-on experience in the EHS field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of safety and develop safety solutions.
  • Gain EHS experience and ensure compliance at our manufacturing site.
  • Perform Job Safety Analysis, PPE Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Hazard Recognition.
  • Support safety programs, conduct audits, and drive EHS improvements.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and collaborate with teams.
  • Report to the EHS Manager.

Education:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science or Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • Enrolled as a full-time student.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and detail-oriented.
  • Basic knowledge of EHS regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous EHS experience or coursework is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support daily plant activities and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with training plant personnel.
  • Lead safety activities and perform inspections.
  • Develop and maintain EHS programs and policies.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits.
  • Participate in incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
  • Support EHS training sessions and data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records and promote a culture of safety.
