INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER

Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for inventory management? We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee our inventory operations and ensure smooth production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to support timely production.
- Release materials based on blanket purchase requirements.
- Train Stockroom and Production Operators on data collection processes within our Inventory Management System.
- Uphold safety guidelines for both food and employee safety.
- Manage inventories of finished goods, raw materials, ingredients, and packaging in our data collection platform.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and recommend operational policies, procedures and goals.
- Implement and enforce standards and SOPs for inventory management and Stockroom operations.
- Document, verify, and execute inventory processes.
- Address and resolve complaints and inquiries relating to inventory accuracy.
- Oversee the receiving process and ERP system entries.
- Promote professional development and growth of direct reports.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, best practices, and KPI achievement.
- Flexibility to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of education and business-related work experience.
- 1-3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a highly regulated industry.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to monitor and coordinate activities.
- Developed skills in leadership, management, interpersonal communication, analytical thinking, decision making, conflict resolution, negotiating, influencing, and knowledge transfer.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience with ERP and inventory control systems is preferred. Experience with WMS and/or data collection systems is a plus.
